Sir:
The account of [[strikethrough]] your Company [[strikethrough]] for transportation service, with the accompanying sub-vouchers, forwarded to this Office 12th [[?]] and received this day, will be prepared for settlement with as little delay as possible. You are respectfully informed that such accounts are audited in routine, having reference to the order in which received. Owing to the reduction in the clerical force in this office the settlement of [[?]] has been somewhat delayed. The account of this stage Co. forwarded to this office Feliz 1669 will be ready for payment in a few days.
