| Ap 5 | Joshua Blunt | Pitt Co. N.C. | Kinston Jail | Purnell Patrick of Pitt Co. N.C. | Stealing a Mule | Was caught with the mule in his possession. A bad man Tried and nearly succeeded in burning the jail on the 7th inst. Made a confession of his guilt but implicated a man named Joe of Pitt Co. | 

This report to be forwarded punctually on the 13th and 28th of each month to the Assistant Adjutant General, Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, Raleigh, North Carolina.
