Dear Sir:
We beg to advise you that Modern Paintings, Inc., formerly de Hauke & Co.,Inc., who rendered invoice to you for purchases you made, have turned over the management of their affairs to us and accordingly the invoice or invoices made by them will by payable to the order of our firm - Jacques Seligmann & Co.,Inc., and not to de Hauke & Co.,Inc., when it will be convenient for you to send your remittance. At that time, we would therefore ask you to kindly make check to the order of Jacques Seligmann & Co.,Inc., and as a matter of record, we are enclosing a statement of your account.

We have recently brought over from Europe quite a number of very interesting paintings, drawings, and other works of art, and if you would have the occasion to visit our gallery in the near future, it would be a pleasure to show these works to you.

Very truly yours,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & COMPANY, Inc.
