March 30th., 1945. Dear Frank: This is just to tell you what has transpired in connection with the painting of the PAINE Estate. In answer to my letter to Mr. Metcalf, I got a little note from Mrs. Metcalf, saying they had turned a few over to Knoedler's for sale. Carl, whom I just spoke to, told me he had had about eight - two remaining, which, unfortunately do not interest me. I thought you would like to know about this. With kind regards, Sincerely, (Germain Seligman) Mr. Franklin D. Houston, Jr., 3 Lyndeboro Pl., Boston, 16, Mass. P.S. How did you come out with the photographs for your friend the decorator? G.S.

Some of the punctuation is wrong in current grammar rules, but that is who they wrote it. Also please check "Metcalf".
