Town about 4.30. on Thursday. If you have time, I should like to take you around to see Henry Payson after we leave her house. I think you may find him useful to know, and he is a very nice fellow besides.

Mrs. Haughton says she is sorry she sold any pictures and will not consider parting with any more. She has two Corots left and they are definitely not for sale. In the circumstances, I assume that you have no interest in seeing her.

You might call me when you get to the Statler Wednesday night. I expect to be at home. My number is Hubbard 0387. If we should miss them, let's communicate on Thursday morning. I'm saving lunch, but if your engagements prevent. I shall understand.

Sincerely,
Franklin Houston
