My dear Mrs. Hunt:

I just returned from a trip to Texas and while I was in Dallas I heard of you, but unfortunately did not have an opportunity to meet you.

I should have liked very much to show you photographs of some of the very fine paintings which we have at our galleries here in New York and which, no doubt, you would have enjoyed looking at.

We are one of the oldest established firms in America ad have been established in Paris for about sixty years. Furthermore, I do not doubt that if you wanted to have any information about the standing of the firm which has sold paintings to most of the museums in this country as well as abroad, Mr. Howard, Director of the Art Museum in Dallas, would be glad to give it to you.

I do wish you would make a note of our address, and should you come to New York, I would esteem it a favor if you would call and give me an opportunity of showing you the paintings which we have here, many of which come from some of the most prominent collections
