My dear Johnson:

We have just received you letter addressed to Trevor who is still away and which I opened in his absence.

I will be very glad to send you a photograph of "Elis John" provided you tell me a little more about that person. I admire your being so discreet about a lady, but I don't know your likes well enough to guess who the lady is whose photograph you want.

Let me have a line telling me who the artist is who painted her and you can be sure of my discretion.

Best regards to Quest and yourself,

Believe me to be,
Yours very sincerely,

Chester Johnson, Esq.,
