Chester H. Johnson, Esq.,
410 South Michigan Ave.,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Sir:

We have been informed by Mr. Trevor that there is a possibility of the large painting by Benjamin WEST having to be returned to New York.

As the case in which the picture would have to be packed is of exceptional size, we would ask you to please send it forward to Messrs. Day & Meyer, Murray & Young, Inc., 304 East 61st Street, New York City for the unpacking there and delivery to us.

This, of course, is no request for the return, but in case the occasion should come up, we would ask you to please proceed as above.

Thanking you,

Very truly yours,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., Inc.,
