November 8th, 1933.

Dear Sir:
I would like to take advantage of my visit to Philadelphia next Monday, November 13th., to have the opportunity of calling on you and making your acquaintance, as I have so often heard of your great interest in art.

When last I wrote to you, you were travelling abroad, but I hope to be more fortunate on this occasion.

I trust that my firm is known to you as being one of the oldest in New York, but should you like to get further information you could easily obtain it from either the Pennsylvania Museum in Philadelphia or the Metropolitan Museum in New York.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

          Believe me to be,
               Yours very truly,

               (Germain Séligmann)
