Dear Germain:

I only received today your letter of November 18th which was mailed to Wichita and was forwarded to me here where I have lived since a few years.

Your information is correct, I was in Ottawa for a day or two at the opening of the paintings I loaned to the National Gallery and which belong to the heirs of Ambroise Vollard, that I represent. The paintings shown at the National Gallery of Canada do not comprise all of the collection which is in my hands and I have got a few others which are also interesting. When the Ottawa show is over it will be sent to the Montreal Museum where you may have a chance to go and see it if you are interested in some of them.

Although I only have two catalogues left here, I am enclosing one which might give you an idea of the paintings although there are only a few reproductions.

The prices are not at all beyond your reach, on the contrary; I know of several dealers in Paris and elsewhere to whom I sold some small ones and who made very good profits on them.

I expect to be going to Montreal sometime in December and if you think it might be worth your while to have a talk with me, we may meet either in Montreal or in New York.

I am glad to have heard from you and hoping this letter finds you in good health, I remain, with best regards,

Sincerely yours,
Edou Jonas
