Dear Mr. Korbel,
Referring to the verbal arrangements which you made with Mr. Trevor regarding your exhibition, which will open on the 25th of this month, it is agreed that you will pay us twenty per cent. (20%) commission on everything sold at this exhibition, and on all ordered resulting from this exhibition; we to make the bills of sale. Should you obtain payment direct, it is of course understood that you will advise us and remit to us our commission as soon as payment has been received by you.
Regarding the conversation that Mr. Trevor had with your Mr. Thomas referring to the insurance of your sculpture during this exhibition, as he explained to Mr. Thomas, our policy only covers our own stock, and he suggested that you should take up this matter personally, which we understood you will do, because, as he explained, this Company can not be held responsible for any change which may result while your things are on our premises, or any other risk introduced.
It is likewise agreed that you will pay the expenses of the catalogue which, however will be taken care of more or less as these catalogues will be sold at 25c. As regards the invitations, it is agreed that we will pay one half the cost of these and if the exhibition proves a financial success, we will furthermore agree to pay one half the cost of the special stands which you have had made.
We would, therefore, ask you to please return this letter to us duly signed under the word "accepted".
