Dear Mrs. Parker:

Dorothy Seiberling of LIFE Art Department gave your name to me as someone who might help solve a problem about which I told her. In brief, the story is this:

A lady who now lives in Woodstock under difficult financial circumstances purchased, in better days, a complete set of lithographs of Redon's Temptations of St. Anthony. As you probably know, there were only 100 copies made of this set. The purchase price at the time (1928) was $350.00. She is now in a position (needing, among other things, fuel to keep warm in Woodstock winters) where she is considering selling the set -- but she has no idea what their current market value is, or how to go about selling them. Neither have I.

Do you have any suggestions? I would like to help her out, if I could, and would be most grateful to you for any leads, estimates, or advice that you might be able to offer.

Yours sincerely,

Terry Harnan
