Mr. Robert M. Levy
3 East 51st Street
New York City, N. Y.

Dear Bob:

Your letter of September 9th, at hand and I was delighted to hear from you.

As to the charge for $17.50, which you queried, that is for copy of the Book Club of California book containing the Jeffers material, which is probably now in your hands.

As to the Van Gogh drawings which you wrote about, I am very much interested, if it is not going to cost us too much money. Have you any idea what packing and express charges would cost us from here to New York and what the insurance would be? I should be very glad to have all this information as soon as possible.

I am glad you liked California and I was delighted that you were out here and that I had the opportunity to see you. Will be glad to hear from you again and with all good wishes,

Yours sincerely,

T. M. Lilienthal
