Samuel Marx, Esq.,
6 North Michigan Ave.,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Mr. Marx:

We would like to know whether you would be interested in a very fine Gothic stone Mantel, measuring 8 ft. high by 8 ft. 6 in. wide, which we have here in our Gothic Room.

As we contemplate moving from here shortly and moving to the fact that in our new premises we may not have accommodation for a large Mantel of this nature, we would be very pleased to dispose of it at a very low price sooner than take the risk of shipping it back to our Paris house.

If you feel that you would be at all interested in it, we would be pleased to send you a photograph with full particulars.
Awaiting the favor of your reply, we are yours very truly,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., inc.
