Dear Mr. McCann,

Meeting you the other [[strikethrough]] night [[/strikethrough]] morning reminded me of the fact that you might be interested to see two very important 18th century English portraits which we have recently acquired.

One is the famous portrait of Lady Lovat by Sir Thomas Lawrence, which is considered to be one of the artist's greatest works; and the other is the celebrated portrait of Miss Dalrymple by Sir Henry Raeburn.*

Knowing that you are interested in paintings of this school, I thought perhaps you might like to see these, and if so, I would be very pleased to show them to you at any time you could conveniently call in here.

Trusting you do not mind my writing to you about this matter, and awaiting the pleasure of hearing from you,

Believe me to be

Yours sincerely,
Clyfford Trevor

What are the prices?
