Dear Mrs. Meeds:

I was extremely sorry not to have had the pleasure of meeting you while I was in Wilmington, and as I could not get in touch with you, I mailed you the letter of introduction which our mutual friend, Mrs. Henry Constable, had given to me for you.

I was very sorry you could not get in to see our exhibition of paintings, but I hope sometime when you come to New York that you will have a little time to spare to see our galleries there where we have not only paintings, but very fine 18th Century French furniture, tapestries and works of art of all kinds.

Our main establishment is the Ancien Palais de Sagan, 57 rue St. Dominique, although we have a branch in the middle of the rue de la Paix, next to Cartier's, but we are in no way connected with the firm of art dealers of a similar name who are situated on the corner of the Place Vendome. I am herewith enclosing you with our compliments a pamphlet describing the Palais Sagan which I thought perhaps you might be interested to read.

Regretting to have missed you, but hoping to have the pleasure at some future time, believe me to be

Yours sincerely,

(Clyfford Trevor)
