Dear Mrs. Meeds,

We are giving a very important exhibition of French paintings of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries at the new McClees Galleries, 1615 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, and as I shall be there for the opening on Monday, the 21st, I was wondering whether you might have time to drive up to Philadelphia some time during that day, as I am certain there are a number of things here which you would at least be interested to see.

We are herewith enclosing you a catalogue and an announcement of the exhibition.

Hoping, therefore, to have the pleasure of seeing you, believe me to be

Yours very truly,
