the days are much longer it seems more like spring the eclipse of the moon night before last, might have made the change in temperature. our snow has gone away to day very fast & theres not much left. icy in places.
I am looking forward to my visit to Brocton next May to Aunt Fannies birthday. she is sick now & may not live to celebrate it, her 89th year she is subject to colds. it will seem good to be able to get out in my back yard, its the only change I get that & going up & down stairs into the different rooms. lucky to be able to even do that. I often think of poor Mrs Welch over to the hospital, she is unable to hardly move about, and cant lie down in bed even, the light goes all night long in her room. We had oyster stew for our dinner with a pudding made of apple & tapioca with cream to eat on it. then we have a fowl & mackerel we get so far what we need. I like tripe but we were not able to get it this week. butter & sugar we are lucky to get. Mrs Barry says tell Doris she is listening to a lady now speaking from Arlington Va by the name of Mrs Hall over the radio. I will now see if my clothes are dry on the line. glad to go out side for a change. my rubbers will be needed for its muddy where my ashes have been emptied will now say good bye, as there was nothing important to write about Love Ma
