MILLS COLLEGE
ART GALLERY AND DEPARTMENT OF ART
MILLS COLLEGE CALIFORNIA
November 30, 1938

Gentlemen:

Several weeks ago I wrote asking you for the possibility of your cooperation in an exhibition of Modern Master Drawings from 1800 to the present day, which is being prepared by Mills College for the period from February 19th to March 29th. As I have not yet heard from you, I would be grateful if you would kindly let me know whether you would be willing to lend us some drawings from your collection for our exhibition.

In the hope that I may have a positive response, I remain,

Very sincerely yours
