December 3rd, 1932.

My dear Mr. Mumford,

I am very sorry that I did not have the pleasure to receive you personally when you came in to the gallery on the occasion of our last exhibition, nevertheless I enjoyed reading - as I do every Friday- what you wrote about it.

We have opening on Tuesday, December sixth, an exhibition which I believe will be much more to your liking than the previous one. It is of Modern French drawings and water colors. The show comprises among other things very fine drawing by VAN GOGH, MANET, SEURAT, and works by CEZANNE and REDON.

I hope if you come in that you will be kind enough to take the trouble to ask for me.

Kindly believe me

Yours sincerely,

(René Séligmann)
