I hereby transmit to your my report for the month ending Sept 10th
I scarcely know what to say about this school, for at the beginning of August I had an increase of twelve (12) scholars; and toward the beginning of Sept I have a decrease of fourteen (14)
Parents complain of the weather being too warm to send their children Others tell me they can get their children schooled for $1.25 ct per month, and not pay in advance many of the scholars come to school about one or two weeks then leave, not having paid any school fees whatever. Some come about three or four weeks then leave
