Miss Wilder has been assisting me part of this month. We had about thirty small children attending school and finding them very much of a case, I thought it better to send them over to our Home for Miss Wilder to teach, as she was employed only in night school. Our kitchen is large and I find it makes quite a convenient school room. The average attendance is small this month on account of the cold weather. These days we were unable to teach at all. And others we could keep but a few hours - the children even then crying with the cold.
