1. Amount of tuition paid during the month. $35.00

2. Remarks.

The shool is well organized & advancing finily.
The condition of the school is different from a newly established one. Since it consits of scholars well advanced & of some variously advanced in primary studies, so as not to be classed together well. To make the school one of the first class an unusual amount of attention is required to be given to the old scholars.
This is evidently one of the great points to make teachers who shall hereafter go forth to spread light among the colored people. It is a school which cannot be run successfully by one teacher.
