2. Remarks: A noticable improvment has taken place in this school, in respect to punctuality. and attention to the different studies.  We have needed school furniture, more than any thing else. to assist in the advancement of the school interest.  A black-board more than any thing else which. I hope to have by the commencement of another year.
We very much [[unclear ??ch]] an organization as a school Board, and have tried to have such a one formed but find that the ones who have the most influence, are unwilling to do more than send their children to school; and think some white man ought to be appointed to fill such position and give as a reason "We are not educated you know"  I would be glad of advice upon this subject there is no one here to assist in any way
