REMARKS:
The School in place continues to improve & the prospect of having a proper Schoolhouse erected soon gives a new impetus to the cause of Education among the Freedmen in this locality & I hope that before our next Report shall be rendered to you that the building will be contracted for.
I am happy to inform you that your late visit to this place has had a tendency to infuse new spirit into the people that heretofore have been rather indifferent upon the subject all of which is most Respectfully Submitted
