Dear. Mr. Woollen:

This is but a short note to let you know that the famous NIELLO cross I enjoyed showing you at my Galleries a few days ago, is being shipped to you momentarily. It will be most carefully wrapped in a special box, in view of its fragile nature, and it will remain insured by my firm until delivered to you., all expenses prepaid.

In view of this, and for insurance purposes, I am sending you herein a shipping advice in duplicate. Would you be good enough to return one copy with your signature, acknowledging thus its safe arrival.

You will also receive, but separately from the box containing the cross, the case in which we shoed this work of art at the time Gallery, as well as the leather on in the shape of a cross which contained the NIELLO originally.

It was a pleasure indeed to have had the opportunity of making your acquaintance and I feel certain that in the decoration of the chapel you are working on for Mrs. Owen, you will be able to show this very remarkable and most delicate work of art to its best advantage.

Looking forward to hearing from you, Yours very sincerely,

Germain Seligman
