November 26th., 1945.

My dear Mr. Paepcke:

As you probably know, the Arts Club of Chicago has organized a retrospective exhibition of Roger de LA FRESNAYE, to which I have cooperated, and it gives me an opportunity to go to your city which I haven't had for quite some time.

It would afford me much pleasure if I could take
advantage of this visit to call on you and see
your collection, about which I have so often heard.

My stay is going to be but a very short one - a couple of days - and I hope that you will have a few moments to receive me.

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)

Walter P. Paepcke, Esq.,
999 Lake Shore Drive,
Chicago, Ill.

P.S. I shall arrive on December 1st., and will be
stopping at the Lake Shore Drive Hotel.
