Dear Mr. Seligman:

Thank you for your letter of July 12th, which I found on my desk upon my return from vacation.

Congratulations on the sale of the Vermeer and I was wondering who Mr. Charles B. Wrightsman is. Is he an art collector as an individual or does he buy to make a gift to some institution, and this isn't for the purpose of making any plea to him, because we are independent in that respect.

I was forced to return early to San Diego because of sickness but I will be on again shortly and I will let you know when I will be there.

With kindest regards, I am
Yours very truly,
F.S. Parker
