SPENCER PENROSE
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO

AIRMAIL

June 1, 1940

Mr. O. A. Liechti,
Jacques Seligmann & Co., Inc.,
3 East 51st Street,
New York, New York

Dear Mr. Liechti:

Since writing to you May 21st, inquiring as to the date of shipment for return to Colorado Springs of Mrs. Penrose's antique secretary, I have received your letter dated May 23rd advising that at that time you expected repairs on the desk to be completed by Monday, May 27th. No further word has been received regarding its shipment, however, and I would therefore appreciate your making use of the enclosed self-addressed and airmail stamped envelope to let me know if shipment has been made or, if not, at what time this will be done.

Mrs. Penrose has now returned to Colorado Springs and would like to have use of the secretary as early as possible.

Very truly yours,
H. W. Bogart
