Dear Miss Greene

A few days ago I purchased a painting which, according to Dr. Friedlander, is by the "Master of the St. Barbara Legend" and I understand that a drawing for it is in your library.

I have a photograph of the drawing, which represents the Baptism of this Saint, and I am taking the liberty of writing to you to inquire how I could obtain two more prints. If there are no other formalities connected with it, could you be so good as to let me have them, and of course, bill me for same?

I realise in writing these lines, that I haven't seen you in a very long time and I do hope that you are in the best of health.

With my very best regards, I am,
Yours very sincerely,
(Germain Seligmann)
