My dear Mrs. Porter:

I plan to be in Boston for a few days from December 7th on at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

It would afford me the greatest pleasure if you would be kind enough to permit me to pay my respects as I have been, if I dare say so, brought up with the book on Romanesque Sculpture of your late husband.

Hoping this will be possible, and looking very much forward to the pleasure of making your acquaintance,

Very sincerely yours,

(Georges E. Seligmann)
