Enclosed you also will find a notice of premium due on your insurance policy No. 7540,246, dated August 24th. We have here a check covering the amount of premium due, namely, $2811. However we are sending this to you as we understand from Mr. Marlow that this is the first time dividends have been due you on the policy in question and that instructions have not been given the Equitable Life as to what disposition you wish made of them. We are at the same time, as you will see, sending you the slip on which you can indicate your decision.

In order to avoid any unnecessary expenses, we have ourselves taken care of the cleaning of the elevator hangings, et curtains in the apartment and those on the front doors, etc., not having any of this work done through Mellina who has previously looked after it, and who, I suppose, quite naturally has charged a commission.

letter
Enclosed you will find a copy of a [[strikeover]]note[[/strikeover]]letter sent us by Mrs. Walser relative to her account and with which she enclosed the notes mentioned therein (two notes). Mr. Jucker will undoubtedly write you more fully about this matter when he returns.

Your letter authorizing me to get some inexpensive material for a new curtain for the show-window has been received and I will get some samples of materials and submit them to you.

Yours very sincerely,

Germain Séligmann, Esq.,
57 rue St. Dominique,
Paris, France.

P.S. Baron von Mumm has not brought anyone in to see the Turner.
