February 16th, 1938

Dear Ludy:

I received your letter of February 12th and, of course, it is quite natural that I am disappointed with the news it contained. I hope that whatever arrangements you finally decide upon will be successful and satisfactory to you.

Regarding the Riemenschneider sculpture, i should like to discuss this briefly with Mr. Seligmann who will be back in New York sometime next week, and I will communicate with you as soon as a decision has been made. There are one or two institutions that perhaps might be interested in such a piece.

I look forward to seeing you when you are next in town, and in the meantime, hope everything is going well in Montreal.

With all good wishes to you and Lola,

Yours very sincerely,
(Robert M. Levy)
