STATE OF TEXAS,
GALVESTON, TEXAS, April 26, 1867.

I. MRS. MARY COLE is hereby appointed Teacher of the Freedmen near Richmond, Fort Bend County, Texas, with a salary of twenty-five Dollars per month, this appointment to take effect upon the organization of a school by her.

She will report at once to Wm. H. ROCK, Sub-Assistant Commissioner at Richmond, for duty.

II. REV. DAVID GREGORY is hereby appointed Assistant Teacher of the Freedmen's School at Richmond, Fort Bend County, Texas, at a salary of twenty-five Dollars per month—this appointment to date from April 1st, 1867.

He will report at once to WILLIAM. H. ROCK, Sub-Assistant Commissioner at Richmond for duty.
