QUESTION: Is there any chance --
POSTMASTER GENERAL O'BRIEN: I must again emphasize that this entire program does not affect the job rights of a single employee in the postal service.
QUESTION: He retains his salary for two years, is that correct?
POSTMASTER GENERAL O'BRIEN: That is correct, minimum. 
QUESTION: The same holds true for the railroads?
MR. HARTIGAN: Mr. O'Brien, with references to the railroad employees, under their contract, it is our understanding, having conversed with the railroad management, that there is no loss of employment on their regular permanent employees either. They find regular assignments, and by attrition they take up the slack.
