Commissioned March 1967 for 1600 RVR day and night

1. Waiver issued by FS-700 authorizing a 6" penetration of the 50:1 obstruction clearance plane.

2. RVR rollout end programmed. RVR projector and receiver presently available. Remaining equipment scheduled for delivery during November 1967.

3. The L-850 centerline lights will be required for 1200 RVR day.

4. Inner marker scheduled for installation during November 1967.

5. Power configuration A exists for the control tower, airport surveillance radar, radar beacon, localizer, glide slope, wind measuring capability and RVR. Other facilities are awaiting delivery of engine generators.

Runway 9R
150 feet wide; 8,000 feet long; CPA Runway 9L

Commissioning date September 16, 1967, for 1600 RVR day, 1200 RVR night

1. The L-850 centerline lights will be required for 1200 RVR day.

2. The approach slope for Runway 9R is not yet approved to a 50:1; however, the city of Atlanta has started condemnation procedures for further clearing in the area.

3. Engine generator installation to provide for continuous power was completed September 28, 1967.

4. Inner marker commissioning date estimated November 15, 1967.
