This two-position ground adjustable fixed horizontal stabilizer augments the stability of the machine to a marked degree. It also reduces maintenance requirements and weight by the elimination of cables, pulleys, fairleads, etc. [[/Caption]]

A spacious baggage compartment, build into the tail boom, takes two 3-suiters and brief cases. Measuring 25"x29"x35", the 14.5 cubic foot compartment handles 250 pounds.. as much baggage stowage as four passengers are allowed on an airliner. The compartment, as well as the cabin doors, are provided with locking handles. [[/Caption]]

Rotating beacons.. an added safety feature for aircraft visibility at night and for conditions of low visibility.

Flotation gear.. permits amphibious operations from water, land, ice, or march.

First-aid kit.

Electric hoist kit.. design permits pilot to lift 400 pound (182 Kg.) load (or two persons simultaneously) directly into cabin through a quickly removable section of the cabin floor.

Litter kit.. allows one or two stretcher patients to ride comfortably inside the cabin for warmth and medical attention en route.

Cabin heater-defroster.. a muff type heater insures comfortable cabin heating, and defrosting in cold climates.
