New York Airways Proposal
STOL Demonstration 

Dear Sirs: 
Enclosed herewith is a proposal for a demonstration project in urban air transportation. It is submitted by New York Airways, as a prime contractor, and by Airborne Instruments Laboratory (a division of Cutler-Hammer Inc.) and McDonnell Douglas Corporation, as subcontractors. 

The enclosures include [[strikethrough]] a description of [[/strikethrough]] the Technical Proposal, Management Proposal and Cost Proposal, together with the following detailed [[strikethrough]] technical [[/strikethrough]] appendices: STOL Applications, Air Traffic Control and Facilities, Aircraft Description, Evaluation Program and Briefing Summary. A reading of these is essential to a complete understanding of the proposal. However, for your convenience we are [[strikethrough]] very briefly [[/strikethrough]] outlining the salient features below in this letter.
