Dear Mr. Sinkler:

You will probably remember that I had the pleasure of meeting you when I arrived from Europe at the same time as Mrs. Robert Dickey last October.

I am setting herewith an invitation for an exhibition of pictures by Raeburn which we have organized, and at which I am sorry your picture is not going to be shown. It would have been a great addition to our exhibition as I hear it is very fine.

Do come in when you are next in New York, and be kind enough to ask for me so that I can have the pleasure of seeing you again.

Kindly believe me to be

Very sincerely
