Dear Mr. Soby,

In the course of a conversation I had the pleasure of having last Saturday with Mr. Jere Abbott, Director of the Smith College Museum of Art, he suggested that I communicate with you regarding several of the pictures that we have recently acquired and which I had the pleasure of showing to him.

Particularly, there are some recent works by BONNARD that can certainly be placed among the outstanding ones from the brush of this great artist, and I trust I will have the pleasure of showing them to you soon.

Looking forward to the pleasure of seeing you in the near future,

Please believe me to be
Yours very truly,
(James St.L. O'Toole)
