Mis. Helen Plumb,
Society of Arts and Crafts,
47 Watson St.,
Detroit, Michigan.

Dear Miss. Plumb:

You will most probably remember that following my visit to Detroit last spring, we corresponded as regards an exhibition which we thought of holding at your Arts and Crafts gallery.

If it will be convenient this exhibition we have in mind could take place during the month of February. We could send over some pieces of French furniture, some tapestries and 16th. century Bronzes, Limoges enamels and Majolecas, branches of art in which the museum in Detroit is quite interested, and, of course, a few fine paintings.

Would you kindly let us know at your earliest convenience, if it would be agreeable to you to have this exhibition in February. Will you likewise let us know what part of the gallery you could let us have, and also what financial arrangements you generally make.

May I suggest that on previous occasions when we have had exhibitions of this kind, we have done so on a commission basis, paying a commission to the gallery where the exhibition was held, in case of sale.

Awaiting the pleasure of hearing from you, and with my kind regards,

Believe me to be,

Yours very sincerely,
