Dear Mr. Seligmann,
Your letter is indeed very encouraging and I am perfectly aware that if an added payment should be forthcoming I shall have you to thank for it.  I only hope that you feel that my request is justified.

Under the circumstances I shall not quote the full price for the added work involved, because the fault was mine for too hasty a judgement, and would suggest only an additional hundred and fifty dollars.
