Dear Sir
Your communication having date Nov. [[?]] relative to the School house at Houma, and on [[illegible]]  is received.

[[?]] Board of Education received instructions from General Banks [[points?]] his departure to the North, to this [[?]].

That they might use for school purposes the [[?]] [[?]] houses of the County parishes.

needed for the instruction of the white children, they were to be yielded for those purposes the Board being previously reimbursed for any [[?]] they may have increased in repairs.
