OBEROI SISTERS NAINITAL [[Two images on the left page]] Seventeen students selected from Delhi schools and colleges received athletic coaching at Nainital under the Rajkumari Sports Coaching Scheme. The camp, which was of 35 days duration concluded recently. The camp was held at the picturesque Birla Vidya Mandir situated at 7,700 feet in the Naini hills. The bracing air and the serene atmosphere of the hills helped the athletes in assimilating their lessons and giving their best. Outstanding among the trainees is the teen-age boy Gurcharan Singh who hurled the javelin to a distance of 173 feet. [[Image 1 with caption]] INDER MOHINI OBEROI of Indraprastha College. Delhi, threw the javelin 111 ft. 6 inches during the Camp. The Oberoi sisters are daughters of a popular Northern Railway official and nieces of R B M S Oberoi Managing Director od Oberoi Hotels (India) Ltd. [[Image 2 with caption]] K. Chawdhry of St. Stephen's COllege cleared 5'7" in high jump and 9'6" in pole vault. [[Next page]] The twin sisters Inder Mohini Oberoi and Manmohini Overoi toucher new heights in their respective events. Manmohini bettered the existing all-India record by seven feet three inches by throwing the discus to a distance of 108 ft. six inches while Inder Mohini cleared 111 ft. six inches with the javelin. Another school boy J'hagwan Das perfecting the belly role cleared a height of 5 feet 9 inches in high jump. The success of the camp has encouraged the organisers-The Rajkumari Coaching Scheme-to make the Naini Tal camp an annual feature.
