My dear Michel, 

I greatly appreciate your telegram on the occasion of the inauguration of our new galleries in New York, and hope that very soon I shall have the opportunity of seeing you here and showing them to both Evelyn and you. I am sending you herewith a clipping which will give you a short outline of the ceremonies. 

I do not expect to go to California on this trip, anyway, as I intend returning to Europe at the end of this month.
