Dear Dick,

Enclosed please find my application for a position at New York Airways and some other material which may interest you. The "position applied for" line is blank because I do not know what may come up --- not because I don't know where my interests and abilities lie.

I feel very well qualified in the field of job training --- both on-the-job and classroom. This has been my principal work for the past three years. At Eastern, I have also gained some valuable sales experience and have had numberless opportunities to practice the art of passenger-relations. Although my job does not require it I have undertaken some other work for various members of the Home Office. This has mostly been of a promotional nature and has included besides the enclosed material on Air Taxi, an article for the company magazine on the same subject, a report on my observations of the European carriers (including the sales potential to be derived therefrom), and a training program for the traffic and sales representatives.

Sales promotion appeals to me most, but I realize that at this stage New York Airways is probably not looking for specialists. As Chief Agent at the Air Lines Terminal I have been delegated many of the Assistant Manager's duties and have derived great satisfaction in the handling of personnel and passengers.

I would appreciated it if you will see that. no inquiries are made at Eastern without my knowledge as, of course, I
