HELICOPTER SERVICE BULLETIN NO. 4

Herewith is New York Airways' latest passenger schedule, effective September 28, 1953. The first morning flight has been adjusted to fit more closely to the demand. Due to the shorter daylight hours, the afternoon flights terminate with the 4:42 P.M. departure from Newark, 5:06 P.M. from New York International and arriving La Guardia Airport at 5:16 P.M.

New York Airways will extend the passenger schedule through the evening hours when the safety factors of night passenger operation are established by the Civil Aeronautics Administration. An extended and new schedule will be issued at that time for general distribution.

New York Airways is completing interline agreements with the scheduled air carriers serving New York City. Under these, passengers purchasing through tickets at any of the offices of the airlines can have the New York Airways inter-airport service included in their through ticket. Reservations can be made by the passenger through any of these ticket offices with confirmation by the airlines' New York offices.

How about insurance? Passengers can purchase air travel insurance from vending machines or counters for a helicopter flight or can include New York Airways in their scheduled airline coverage, if they so desire. Of course, New York Airways, as well, carries heavy liability insurance on all passengers carried.
