Dedication Ceremonies

This should be an example to the manufacturing industry who are now beginning to awaken to existence of a very substantial commercial transport market.   However, just as capital went abroad to buy the Viscount three years ago, present indications are that we may well be doing similarly in order to find appropriate equipment to render the best possible service to the public.

For some times now the capacity of New York Airways helicopters has been taxed to the limit.  Although the equipment we have been using up to date is small, and up until today we have not been able to serve the heart of this, the greatest Metropolitan Area in the world, nontheless last month our helicopters carried 4,288 passengers plus substantial quantities of mail and cargo.  By next spring if the necessary additional equipment is delivered on schedule, our company will be in a position to offer twenty schedules a day to this heliport with our fleet of new twelve-passengers helicopters.  In order to prepare for this we are very proud to announce that we have entered into a joint fare arrangement with Pan American Airways which will enable Pan American passengers to and from all over the world to take the fullest possible advantage of this heliport and New York Airways service.  By next spring we expect to have similar arrangements with many other airlines -- concurrently with the advances in fixed wing design New York Airways will be able to obtain
