January 1996 : During New York City's thirteen day Transit strike, over 25,000 passengers were carried. The total revenue passengers for the month of January 1996 was 44,026, surpassing by more than 12,000 the record set in June 1965.

June 1966 : The total revenue passenger for the month of June 1966 was 52,808 surpassing by almost 9,000 The record set in January 1996.

August 1996 : New York Airways surpassed the two million mark in the passengers carried.


March 1, 1997 : Service between Teeterboro airport in the Northern New Jersey , the Pan Am Building in Midtown Manhattan and John F. Kennedy International Airport is inaugurated.

March 8, 1967 : Service between Westchester Airport and John F. Kennedy International to be inaugurated.
