[[underline]]Godfrey A. Rockefeller - Director of Technical Assistance[[/underline]]

Small Helicopter Flight Operations Expert-----

Mr. Rockefeller was born May 22, 1924, and received his education in New England. He graduated from Yale University with a B.A. degree in economics after having his studies interrupted by four years war service in the Pacific as a naval aviator with the United States Marine Corps.

Following the war, he joined General Mills, Inc., in Minneapolis but was recalled to active duty with the Marines with the rank of Major during the Korean crisis. During this tour of duty, he qualified as a helicopter pilot.

In 1954, he became associated with Keystone Helicopter Corporation which operated contract service, both domestic and overseas. He organized and operated a helicopter contract service in Labrador, as well as carrying out seismographic operations in Utah and New Mexico. He then organized a helicopter operation in Columbia, South America, which expanded into a fleet of 22 helicopters operating primarily for oil companies.

Later, he joined Bell Aircraft Corporation as Export sales Administrator, handling all overseas sales and operations. In this capacity, he demonstrated Bell Helicopters in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Jordan. This assignment also took him to Egypt, Greece, Italy, France and Belgium.

In 1957, he joined Chespeake and Potomac Airways, Inc., as Vice President - Operations.

This Company operated helicopters on charter and scheduled service. Mr. Rockefeller developed and administered Sales and Advertising Program for charter operation with large corporate customers. Supervised advertising and publicity to develop business for scheduled inner-city service. Additional duties consisted of supervising flight operations and the service department, with overall responsibility for the maintenance and overhaul of company and customer aircraft and equipment.
